Spanish is the second most used language in international communication, the fourth most commonly spoken language in the world
Employment opportunities increase for those who are fluent in both Spanish and English.
Why study Spanish
Estimates indicate that by the year 2015 the United States of America will be the largest Spanish speaking country in the world
By acquiring fluency, it is possible to understand enough to be able communicate with people who speak different languages, particularly those that are also Romance based.
It is so romantic!!
Countries in Latin America are strengthening and expanding their economies; they are important trading partners.
To study the literature of great writers and thinkers, art and other cultural manifestations without losing anything “in translation.”
